I am an advocate for Family Child Care in New York State. Family Child Care is defined as care provided in a residential home by a licensed or registered professional. In NYS we have Family Day Care (FDC) and Group Family Day Care (GFDC). Please look at the links for resources. I am a professional development trainer for FCC providers. My training organization focus on building quality FCC. Training we offer include: 15 hours Health and Safety, 30Hrs Professional Development, 90hrs towards NAFCC Accreditation Project.
